• Deals can be anything that people can buy for a small amount of money including two-for-one sales, reduced prices, and clear out sales.
  • Vouchers are additional discounts on products. A voucher can be a code that you provide at the time of purchase or it can be earned by doing a survey. Vouchers usually involve a promotional code so make sure to provide that when posting a deal.
  • Freebies are things you can get for free. It doesn’t matter whether it is a free pair of scissors or a free video game. If a free item is included in a purchase it is considered a deal since the purchase is required.
  • Competitions are anything you can enter for free and win a prize.  The better the prize, the hotter the competition will be. Soliciting votes for the competition you’ve entered is not allowed. You cannot post asking for people to vote for you.
  • Ask is a place where you can post about a specific deal you are looking for, or inquire about a previously posted deal that you are unable to find.
If you don’t want to go to the specific list for vouchers or freebies to look for them, or you are just browsing through all of the deals it is really easy to tell what is what. The deals will always have the red field under the picture that says “get deal”; the voucher will have a green field that says “get code and visit site”; the freebie will say “get freebie” and the competition will just say “enter” and will have a yellow box. Competitions also have a blue ribbon under the heat indicator.
If the deal has expired it will be shaded and it will have a grey box that says “expired” and the date of expiration. Also, the voting on that deal will not be possible.
An online deal is one with URL and website address where you can buy that deal. An offline deal is a deal at physical shop.
Yes, If the deal is posted thru GPS enabled device , app will have gps location tagged to it.

Deals are categorised as Hot Deals.
A Hot Deal is a deal that’s been voted hot by a lot of members that agree that it is a very good deal.
New Deals
A New Deal is a deal that’s been posted recently. It may not be hot because it’s new, but this is a good way to find out about good deals before anyone else.
Reviewed Deals
Reviewed deals are deals that have been commented on. Once you choose to view reviewed deals ( they are found on the very bottom of the page under the section deals) it will take you to the page where all the reviewed deals are listed in the order of most reviewed ones.
How do I find nearest deals to me?
Simply choose the town closest to you from the “select city” option on the right of the page, right under the “log out” button. Once you have chosen the city, the page will show only the deals in that particular area. If you have enabled site to pick up your GPS location, you will be shown deals nearby you.

Once you have chosen the city, the page will show only the deals in that particular area. If you have enabled site to pick up your GPS location, you will be shown deals nearby you.
To locate a specific deal, you can use the search bar at the top left. When you start typing, suggestions will appear in the drop down box. For example, if you want to look for a “Tesco” voucher, type and select “Tesco” and it will automatically show all results regarding this search.

Many deals have vouchers attached to their post. Members can use these to get an even better deal. Every deal will also have a quick link that will lead you to all available vouchers for that merchant. These are found on the bottom right of the post. You can also search for vouchers by choosing “vouchers” (mobile phone icon) from the submenu on the home page. You can filter the results to appear in heat order or hottest content. You can also choose to sort them in the order of most recent post.

The way you add a voucher to your purchase can vary. Usually you will see a box before or during payment which will ask you to enter a voucher/coupon/promotional discount code. You can then just copy and paste the code from lutmaar.com and it should, if you are eligible to use it, deduct a certain amount from your total. Not all vouchers work for everyone so make sure you check the terms and the source to know if you are eligible to use it. Merchants can reject your purchase if you use the code you are not entitled to and we ask you to let us know if you have any problems with vouchers at all.

If you want to see all the deals of a particular seller, you can do so by going to one of his deals, or finding the seller’s comment on someone else’s deal and click the “follow” button in the bottom right of his or her comment. This will take you to a page where all the deals of this seller are listed.
You can filter each of the categories of the deals by selecting a subcategory which is found under the main menu and has categories such as audio visuals, beauty, computers, entertainment, fashion, groceries, gaming, home, kids, mobile, restaurants, travel. So, for example if you want to see vouchers for restaurants, you will choose “vouchers” from the main menu, and then select the “restaurants” button from the submenu and it will list all the restaurant vouchers currently on lutmaar. You can filter the results even more by selecting a particular city from the “select city” which is found on the right of the page, under the “submit” button.
You view a short list of the week’s or month’s hottest offers by clicking the “month” or “week” in the hottest offer section which is found on the right of the page, under the “select city” section.  Week’s top deals will also be shown on the top of the page in a form of a slide show.
You can select these options at search filters
Lutmaar.com is a website designed for people to exchange good deals with each other and to share and seek advice from the community. Anyone is welcome to post a deal on lutmaar.com as long as its purpose is not commercial: lutmaar.com is not to be used for promotion and users who use this website for promotion of products or companies with which they are connected with will be immediately banned from the website. Only UK based companies are allowed, although allowances are to be made for users who have a strong reputation with our members.
You are allowed to post any deal, although this website is about the hottest deals in the UK, so you are to run a price check before posting and also make sure that the same post has not been posted in the last 4 weeks or it will be deleted as a duplicate.

Members use the LutMaar temperature gauge (the red and blue arrow next to each deal) to express their opinion on a certain deal, voucher, competition or a freebie. Members vote “hot” for the deals that seem special to them. Enough hot votes will get the deal to the front page.

Deals that don’t seem to be that good are voted cold. If you are voting cold it would be helpful to the community if you left a comment within the thread.

Once you’ve become an established member your vote will have a bigger impact on the temperature gauge. New members will only be able to change the temperature by a small amount.

The best way to get more vote power is to post hot deals yourself. This will earn you points which will help you up your ranking on lutmaar. Helping other members will also help you advance, so vote fairly, be helpful and constructive and become an important member of our community.

You can see how much points you have on your profile page. You can access your profile by clicking the “my account” icon in the top right corner and in the section “points” which is right under the section “e-mail” you can see your Hot Deals Ranks which represents the number of your points. The total amount of your points is listed on the bottom of the page where you can see your approved points and your pending points.
You earn 5 points for posting a deal and this is the most pints you can earn for a single action. Voting and adding a comment will earn you 1 point each. On the “points” page you can see a full list of your actions that earn you points, as well as the number of points you have received for each action. You can also access this page from the “my account” page. Right under the hot deals ranks in the points section is a link that says “view points transaction”. Clicking this link will take you to the complete list of your points.
You can report a deal as spam by clicking the spam button under the temperature gauge. The spam button is in a form of a red circle with “spam” written in white letters.

The deal heat meter shows the number of votes that particular deal has. People will vote the deal hot if they think that it is really good, and they will vote it cold if they think the opposite.
